Garcia's story
Meet Garcia.
This handsome young boy has had a rough few months but today this sweet guy is happy and healthy and looking for his new forever home.
Backing up a couple of months - someone decided to see if their dog would get along with Garcia, so they tied him to a tree in their yard and let their dog out. Apparently their dog didn't like poor Garcia and viciously attacked. Garcia, unable to protect himself or flee was severely wounded and needed approximately 100 staples. After spending almost 2 months in a cone while his wounds healed he is now pain free and ready to start the next chapter of his life.
Garcia is guessed to be 1 1/2 to 2 years old and weighs 35-40 pounds. He's extremely high energy and loves to play. He likes to spend time with his people and doesn't care to be left alone. Despite his past experience, he gets along great with other dogs. He does need some training but is an intelligent boy who will learn with consistency.
